Farmall on the Farm: 1st Birthday Bash

With my daughter I think I starting planning her 1st birthday on the day she was born, with my son it was no different. I live for a good party to plan! For my baby boy's 1st birthday my husband set the theme, Vintage Tractors, I was on the hunt to find anything creative to start planning this big birthday bash.

I searched the internet and found a lot of parties done with the John Deere theme, cute, but not really what I was going for. After many discussions with myself, over and over in my mind, I finally landed on Farmall on the Farm. Since Farmall's are red and most items for tractor parties are green and yellow, I knew I would have to make everything for this party and come up with some great tractor ideas to make this exactly what I had envisioned. I had so many ideas, and in order to not make this party look like a circus I needed to narrow down my decisions to turn this party vision into a reality!

We had several different types of vintage tractors, we placed one on each table with a balloon & snacks.

I put out bubbles, punch balloons & drawings for the kids. The bubbles I purchased from the Dollar Store and applied tractor stickers to them. I printed activity and coloring sheets from Tractor Mac.

Lemonade as "Tractor Fuel" and stripey straws from The TomKat Studio.

We had quite the spread of food for all ages to enjoy. Even a "Tractor Wheel" Macaroni salad with wagon wheel noodles.

My first attempt at making a decorative cake, not too shabby!

Treat bags from The TomKat Studio.

I made jam as a favor for the guests to enjoy at home, these were a huge hit.

Happy Birthday baby boy, we love you so much! What a fabulous party, my vision into reality was achieved!

Keep a watch for my follow up post on DIY instructions on the birthday & fabric banner, party printables and details on the cake.
