A Dream turns into Reality...

Steve and I had been dreaming for the past 5 years for the day when we would have some room to roam. We really wanted a place where we could play on the quads, space for the dog to run and play and for us to raise our family.  We talked about it a lot, five acres and a beautiful home for ourselves and of course one day Steve could have his shop.  Now of course with that would come a parking spot in the garage for me, finally!
So on June 1st last year we finally took the plunge, it didn't take long and our house had sold. Come the week before Thanksgiving we had 4 days to pack up the house and say goodbye. We moved in with the in-laws, tight quarters but we are truly blessed that they have generously aloud us to intrude on their lives for 8 months.

We began our search and were quite lucky to find a great piece of property close to both of our families and it was five acres! SOLD! The process began slowly but we are seeing some progess.  We just had the foundation poured and next week framing should begin!  We are so excited, anxious, nervous and I am sure many other feelings will come our way.

I will try and keep this updated as much as possible and of course we will have many pictures for the whole journey!

New Beginnings...

Where do I begin, this past year has been an amazing feat. I never could have imagined that working full time and going to school in the evenings would have taken so much out of me, boy was I wrong! I have so much respect for people who manage to accomplish this with a family to take care of as well. I was lucky enough to have a supportive family and a great group of classmates to guide me along my way. Now that it is all done I can look back, smile and be thankful for all I have learned and accomplished. I have taken all of my tests and am now a licensed Esthetician. A dream I have had for quite some time, glad to say it finally came true. I am not sure where this next path will take me but I am excited to find out and share my knowledge with those around me.
